Hi this is actually aimed at the moderators on the site, I seem to have quite a lot of my posts within the mental health area put on hold, wouldn't it be a good idea to give some feedback as to why this is happening on a regular basis so I can avoid the use of maybe inappropriate words.
If I post in this area it's because someone is asking for help or support, if I'm moderated every time then they are maybe left unanswered, I'm not saying that my replies are automatically going to be great but sometimes just knowing someone is out their can be a boost to a bad time

No and to be honest I'm not holding out much hope, I have sent numerous messages to them and as yet haven't even had an acknowledgement, so whoever is running the site maybe they should become more proactive but thanks for answering

Posts go for moderation when certain words are used in the post. Commonly in the mental health/depression etc groups it is when the word suicide or suicidal is used. We have to moderate these posts in case users are posting suicidal thoughts type posts so we can offer support to them. Unfortunately any replies containing the words will also go for moderation but will be approved at the earliest opportunity. Other examples of posts getting sent to moderation are when they contain brand names or other website names which while in the main will get approved need moderating due to spammers trying to use our forums to promote these products or sites. If you ever have specific queries you can send me a PM or use the Contact us link in the footer.
Regards,
Alan
