Mono/EBV Still Active in My Blood after 9 Months....

Posted , 5 users are following.

Hi all,

I was finally diagnosed with Mono in November 2019 after feeling symptoms since Aug/Sept 2019 and many trips to different doctors. Now, in June, EBV still shows it is active and positive in my blood which is very concerning to me and no doctors seem to know how to suppress the virus in moving forward. I still have the majority of my symptoms.... they seem to be worse after bad night's sleep and stress.

**How long did it take for EBV to become inactive for you? **

Thanks in advance.

I first got sick with mono in August 2019. I had a blood check done in January this year because I was having a flare up and wanted to see if the ebv was still visibly active, but my bloodwork only showed I'd had the infection in the past. I still get flare ups though. This illness is sly - it seems to play hide and seek when it wants to.
