It seems to be helping me, but i am also taking high dose vitamin C, B12 tablets, L-lysine, olive leaf extract and a product called Anti-V Formula(echinamide in it). So.....what is truly helping me ??? Personally speaking the most important things for me are in order--Rest, Reducing stress(do not worry if you will ever get better just believe you will and you will), eat healthy, Vitamin C and then the other supplements. It's up to your immune system to decide when this is over. I finally think(hope) mine has got p****d off and starting to whip some ebv ass. Now, I am in my 7th month. I have worked 12 hr shifts all through this since Dec. and only missed 2 days. If possibly I could have rested all January it may have helped. If I have trouble sleeping or need a charge up I go on youtube and do some of Mr John Hall's 22 min guided meditations and it helps tremendously to think positive and to try to eliminate or help deal with stress and pain. There are many here to help and listen as we are in this together...praying for your health don86!

If I may add a couple of things...I have had great success with my clogged ears or ear popping and sore throat using a product called Simply Saline nasal mist by Arm & Hammer. It is in a spray can and i find it to work better than the cheaper plastic sprays. Also, try to avoid alcoholic drinks.....as much as I love my beer i have found it to hinder my recovery. I do still slip up when i seem to feel better, but more than not i pay the next few days with throat and ear problems as well as poor sleep. best of luck CJ

Thanks for the replies. I'm 9 and a half months in from my original infection. and now 2 weeks into a bad relapse. It's really disheartening. I just added Monolurin to the regular stuff I take a couple of days ago so I am looking for a little bit of hope that once I build the Monolurin in my system it will be the ingredient that helps me put this to bed for good. Researching online Monolurin seems to be the real deal. I'm glad that people on this board have had positive experiences with it.
