Monthlong Headache No Relief Please Help

Hi there. I am a 23-year-old female, usually in very good health. I woke up with a throbbing pain in my left temple over a month ago that has moved behind my ears, behind my eyes, and into the back of my head. I have a history of migraines but nothing like this before.

I got two torradol shots at the beginning of the migraine, three days apart. I took fioracet, maxalt, immitrix, narcotics including percacet, vicodin, and tramadol, and nothing has brought me relief.

I have been to the ER twice when I could not keep down food anymore. The

first time I got a mixture of benadryl, torradol, and regalin. I went back a few days later and they gave me morphine, torradol, and regalin. Still the headache would not break.

My CT is normal. I have been to a neurologist, who gave me an occipital nerve block shot. Nothing has worked. She seems to not be able to help me at this point.

Please - anyone who has any advice, ideas, or similar experiences. I haven't left bed in a month and desperately want my life back. Please help.

Going through very similar experience at the moment, meds wont response waiting for neuro to try botox. It might sound really ridiculous but I have started doing deep breathing exercises for chronic pain am finding them to offer me some temporary relief. It is a type of mindfulness and something you need to practice as the more you do it the better you will be able to manage pain this way. I know you might be thinking deep breathing are you kidding me! I started it because I was out of options and would try anything and it's really amazing is the power of the mind. Xx
