Moon boot

I am in a moon boot I have stress fracture in my right foot took doctors 8 weeks to figure it out and now I am wearing a moon boot. Dr said I can take it off to drive. I have to see her again in a month get another ct scan. If in a moon boot can I clean house and walk around or should I still elevate my foot all the time? I need advice as my foot swells really bad and I am in lyrica for the pain. Thanks for any advice.

    Keep it elevated,  rest and allow ankle to heal.  Keep boot on anytime you’re doing anything, you don’t want to injure your ankle .

      Thanks for your reply Its very hard for me to just sit down lol but I will try to elevate my foot. The lyrica has stopped the pain but not the swelling its my foot not my ankle that has the stress fracture.

      Have you tried an elasticated stocking. They can be very effective in controlling swelling.
