    Hello angela30613,

Couldn't agree more with carol28488, I know exactly how you feel as do we all on here, some days despair and panic are here to bother us. You have to imagine that you have beaten them up and they won't beat you.

i count my blessings for the things I can still do. Losing the use of my hands is terrifying me at the mo.

Things could always be worse, could live in Syria or have Ebola. Drastic I know but there are always poor sods worse off.

go at your own pace and say no to people if you can't do it. Hard as that is.

the most important is a SENSE OF HUMOUR, put something funny on the tv or talk to a friend or relative, usually they moan so much it makes you realise life isn't that bad!

Keep it in perspective. I really struggle too. But the lovely people on here will always give you a lift mentally and spiritually. I don't know what I'd do without this forum. Huge strength is gained from the people who are kind enough to say a few words when you feel blue.

i also have to say listening to meditations on you tube are very soothing. A bit like being a child again being read a bedside story. Any comfort is good I think.

its very very difficult trying to find ways to get round stuff but that makes us more creative. I do weirdly think that we are given this because we are strong people although we feel incredibly weak at times. I find surgery and the dentist no problem at all now. Things that other people fear or find painful are child's play now.

take it a day at a time and don't forget to smell the roses.

Chin up. We will get through this together.

loads of love to you and everyone on here.

    xxx

Hi angela 30613 Its best not to think what next may be around the corner, last november I had a mini stroke. I just take each day as it comes live it like its your last, as some one once said to me life isnt a rehersal live it. Their is always some one worse off than yourself like children battling cancer, and whats going on in other countries. I find treating my self being kind to your self helps a bit, and keeping your mind active and off fibro  helps a bit too not always easy I know. take care hope you and every one else on the forum has a good weekend.

Thanks for the comments. I put this up as my last surviving Gran died and having the fibro diagnosis on the same day. Was feeling the "what next" syndrome. I have manged to keep hold of humour, gave up on my sanity long time ago. And I say to others who ask how I cope, hey there are people a lot worse off than I.

I treat each day as a challenge and give it my best shot.........! xx
