More sore than usual after TKR.

Is it occasionally possible to be too sore to exercise after a TKR?  I've been more sore than usual today and want to skip my evening exercise without jeopardising my recovery.

I stopped my exercises for a couple of days about 2 weeks into my recovery because the tears were rolling down my face trying to do them. I soon got back into it, just take it slowly and it will get easier. I've found a wee bit is better than nothing

Pain med 1/2 to hour before..lots of water for lubrication. Go slow and do what you can without putting yourself in real pain. Slow and very easy. You aren't going to be a lifetime cripple because you missed putting yourself in agony. Slow down your morning exercises. Speed isn't the issue. This is a process and you aren't going to short circuit it by rushing or beating up on yourself trying for 110 when 105 is painfree and a good stretch for the moment. Once again...its a marathon not a sprint. Take you time, slow and easy

If you need a day off, take a day off.  No one's keeping score!!!  If you're sore, you may have done too much the previous day.  Listen to your body!!!  This is not a race!!!  Time, work, patience...
