hello, a quick update after my doctors app today, no antibiotics prescribed as no apparent infection, but double the dose of last Prednisilone due to lung inflamation, also double the dose of the Symbicort. did mention if these do not have desired effects a review was needed of my asthma which seems to go hand in hand with the bronchiex, oh well, time will tell.

    I've been on prednisilone for years, I know that long term usage has a lot of side affects, but I can't function without it.  I take 30-40 mg a day.  I take care of my eyes and calcium for my bones. I would love to decrease the dosage, but haven't been able to for years.

      hello Beth, is that every single day you need 30-40mg? oh my goodness! I am taking 30mgs a day, but only for 5 days just now. do you mind me asking what you do to take care of your eyes? having sight is so wonderful, I cannot ever imagine losing it, thankyou, David
