Morning anxiety!!!!

Posted , 13 users are following.

My mornings are the worst and always have been. I am woken by my anxiety, trembling, racing thoughts, nausea, panicking. It never gets easier. I feel like I'm on sertraline 5 and a half weeks and see little or no improvement and this is messing me up because I feel like I am not getting any better.

Can anyone relate?

My anxiety is way worse first thing than it is in the evening, it literally makes no sense.  I go to bed, feeling like there's an improvement, then I wake up with intrusive thoughts and my mind all over the place, bouncing off the walls.  I've accepted this is likely the drugs causing it and that helps settle me a bit.  It does subside after a while if I focus on my breathing but initially it was really scary.  Feel for you and stay with it!

How are you getting on with your treatment? I've been on 100mg over a year now but recently I've been suffering from my anxiety worse than ever. Feelings nauseous, dizzy and don't want to do anything. Just had to cancel plans this evening as I felt so anxious about heading to town.

Maybe I need a higher dose.

hi. How are you now. I to am on those pills. 100mg and they made my anxiety  worse. I hate going to bed at night time because I know in the morning it is going to be on full force. Have an appt with the doctor today and hope that they can put me on something that will stop the anxiety altogether because I to am over it.
