Morning, yes facing the day brings huge anxiety. I live alone, I have bad tinnitus, and sore dry eyes. Both made worse by Sert 50mg. What is the choice? try to fight against the ‘what’s the point’ or give in to sometimes black thoughts.

It’s a struggle most days, meds can help us to try to help ourselves. Horrible situation to be in as I know.

Hi, I’m in my sixties but have still been working part time until my major blip. I’ve tried to work a little bit, I work from home, but make sure it’s only afternoons. Yes, I do go out if I can and I find that can help.

I HAVE to some things as there is no one else to it for me.

Challenging getting dressed though, it takes forever. Nice to be a dog or a cat, just have a bit of a stretch and off they go ☹️

Morning. Hope the day improved for you. Rather than trying to fight the anxiety and not feel it. For a minute focus on the physical feelings, tell yourself that it is just anxiety and cannot hurt you. Sometimes helps for me xx

Hi Kerry I’ve been back on paroxatine now for the past 6wks with little improvement. I still can’t sleep without sleeping tablets. When do you think this will kick in properly for me. I feel anxious , shaky and scared. And mostly I just want to lay on my bed x

The mornings are awful. I wake from a nice sleep then anxiety hits me. I feel shaky and I try to use my breathing to calm me. My head feels it’s in a permanent fog. I take my meds in the morning.

I was on 150mg sertraline for 4 months. I am now down to 25mg trying to taper off. I have now been on Sertraline for 7 months. It has given me tinnitus and foggy head. I am taking a little bit of Valium to ease the withdrawal effects.

I just want my head to be clear again.
