morning headaches for eight years

I have a headache wake me every morning after approx five hours of sleep, usually less. no matter what time I go to sleep.  they started along time ago and gotten worse now they are daily, anti inflamatories are out because of kidney issues.  My doc neuro wants to do botox if insurance will allow it,.  they are caused by the transgeminal nerve at the back of my head.  They go away in five minutes or so, but once awake I'm awake. no naps.  Anyone else have these help looking for treatment
