Mornings

The mornings can be really bad for me. Pain and feeling low, to the degree I don't want to sleep. Anyone else feel the same?

Sorry you feel this way too.
I feel so low and don't have much quality of life being this way.
My main pain is in my lower back, which is always stabbing and I'm now finding I walk hunched.
Docs don't seem to care.

Take care and it's normal to feel low and have a down time rest, but then you have your push through days, and then at times better days or moments.... I appreciated those days when I have even managed to get out of bed, eaten, and pursued the odd job to do in such a small area as I have, and to be able to Paint.
Blessing for the New Year ahead, may it be an improvement on the this year for you to....

since sleep is not restorative it's easy to wonder why even bother... I see one of my drs at 7 am and those days I just stay up. It's exhausting and I get sad about quality of life too. I'm grateful my spouse keeps us afloat financially and my kids deserve medals or healthaide degrees for all they do for me.
Today's weather and too much screen time yesterday has all my joints and ribs in an uproar. Can't breathe either from mold allergies. At times it seems never ending but try not to give up. I'm talking to myself as much as to you :0 but press on support yourself with the best treatments you can find/afford that work for you and lots of pacing.
I got a mindfulness for chronic pain book from an author I heard online. She's in the UK and runs Breathworks programs there. In the US her book is titled "you are not your pain" and that's a pretty good mantra I was reminded recently "this too" (the downer stuff) is part of life and getting angry or resistant just adds suffering. But i get it. it's a struggle. Sorry to ramble. Hope it helps a little .Take care.
