How many days have you been on sertraline? I am on day 10. I take the medicine right before bed every night. I’m taking it for anxiety and panic attacks. I’m still having bad panic attacks at least every 3-4 days, but the doctor gave me Xanax to help with the panic attacks. I feel shaky and nauseous just like you. Can’t wait for it to subside.

You sound like me. I do not suffer with depression or OCD but was having really bad panic attacks and anxiety. I couldn't do anything at first. I would have severe palpitations and panic which literally sort of forced me to the ground. This was in Nov. I started on 25mg for 10 days and then went up to 50mg. Oh my god..Side effects horrid as you are discovering. Id never been so tired in my life and I felt so weird. But I kept going and am so glad I did.

Take med at same time every day. Don't mess with the dose. Don't miss a dose. Put a reminder on your phone!.Drink loads and loads of water and cut out coffee in the evening. You will get through this.

I am now on 150mg and this med has changed my life.

Have you tried deep breathing to stop a panic attack. You can stop one in 3 minutes. Put a timer on your phone. Breathe through your nose and out through your mouth as calmly as you can. After about a minute start shouting STOP in your head and keep doing the breathing. It really works.

Google it...'How to stop a panic attack in 3 minutes '

Anyway good luck ..You will get good days and bad but eventually you will see light at the end of your tunnel. Keep reading stuff on here...and keep posting.

Thank you so much! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it helps so much hearing you say that you got better with the medicine. I really appreciate it.  smile

Ive been on my meds for years 150mg but unfortunately a pharmacist gave me sudafed which you can not take with Zoloft and it set me back to square one like I wasn’t even taken Zoloft I’m so angry and upset that I’m going through all this again that’s why I was asking because I can’t remember these effects and how long they last

Wow, I didn’t even know that. Good to know but sorry your going through this. I took Zoloft back when I was 18, I didnt recall any of these side effects either.

Yes quit scary and the pharmacist said it was ok I feel like I’ve started back on my Zoloft from scratch from this even though it’s in my system and never stopped it, it over powered everything now it’s all a waiting game again for it to get out of my system as in the sudafed and Zoloft to get to it’s full use again

In the mean time I’m one very high dose of Valium to get me through the day which only takes the edge off to be honest and a heart better blocker to slow my heart rate down because going to fast and to much adrenaline, so always make sure you always ask doctor before you take something with you meds because it can cause severe interactions. I’m so angry because I’m going through this over something so stupid

Things are always worse in the morning. I know what you mean when you talk about shaky and tummy upset. It is awful. Sertraline does effect the stomach and can give tremors.

Yea it’s so weird it’s like you instantly wake up feeling that way, it’s so annoying as you wish to wake up feeling good and it can set you back a bit
