Morons Neuroma

Posted , 6 users are following.

I had two neuromas removed from my foot five weeks ago. Although the incision was from the top of my foot I still feel really uncomfortable walking, as if I'm walking on a marble and I have a very tender part to touch just where my toes join the ball of my foot. Anyone else experience this and can tell me if this is normal please. Thank you

Has anyone heard of 'denervation'?  That is the simple act of killing the nerve, rather than cutting it out.  My niece had this done on a nerve in her neck instead if major surgey and it worked wonders.  I think they stuck a needle into the appropriate spot and either chemically or with a laser neutralized the nerve.  No more pain.  If anyone has an appointment with their specialist coming up soon, please ask and let us all know if it is something that would work with a Morton's Neuroma.
