Morphine Sulphate Tablets

I broke my back during army service and spent many years on one different pain medication after another, none of which really helped me at all..I was finally refered to a good pain management specialist and he changed my medication to Morphine Sulphate tablets, the change in my pain levels dropped by over 50% almost over-night and I went from taking up to 15 tablets a day to just four.

I take MST too but in capsule form. I have been taking these since a RTA in January as I had 8 breaks in my knees and shoulder.

I take Zomorph morphine sulphate (MST) 40mg per day. I'm due to have a knee replacement in October and then two ops on my other knee to repair torn ligaments.

i'm hoping when my knees heal I can come off MST but I believe they are very addictive.

what side effects do you get

      Hi christine

I've been taking 40mg of MST since my motorbike accident in January

On first taking oramorph and MST I was sick for about a week and then I was ok. I only take oramorph on occasion now. The oramorph I took 2 or 3 times a day or less depending on the pain.

If both medicine are not touching your pain have a chat with your doctor

      hope this helps x
