I've had 3 operations over the years for different ones and the pain has completely gone away.  The operation isn't too invasive nowadays and the recovery time is good (well compared to bunion scarf/akin which I had done a couple of years ago).  Would def have morton's neuroma op again if needed.  Hope this helps.

I had bunion surgery just 4 months ago and I'm dreading having another surgery so soon. Thought the bunion surgery would take care of the pain. Now I found out the pain from the neuromas are much worse the the pain from the bunion. I have 2 neuromas on my right foot and my whole foot hurts except my heel. Was your pain from the neuroma that widespread?

I had the neuroma operations years before I had the bunion surgery and haven't had any pain from the neuromas since they were dealt with.  Have you had neuroma surgery before?

Personally I found the neuroma surgery a lot less painful than the bunion one as it doesn't involve any of the bones and my healing time was considerably less and an awful lot less painful to get over.  No pain from the neuroma after they'd been dealt with too.  Good luck.
