Most pleasurable side effect

I'm 58 and has a heart attack when I was 38, as a result was put on a cocktail of various medication (which I cannot live without).

The major side effect of my heart medication is almost total loss of libido and complete impotence (erectile dysfunction), which fortunately these days can be overcome to a great degree with the help of viagra and cialis etc.

However a few weeks ago in the very icy weather, I slipped and badly broke my wrist and it had to be plated...all very painful as you might imagine and because all of the usual (soft over the counter type painkillers) were useless, my GP prescribed 30mg DHC up to 8 a day.

Like everyone seems to report here, ok for about 4 - 5 hours don't exactly kill the pain but put you into a semi euphoric state where you stop worrying about the pain and certainly help me to sleep nights.

But the most amazing side-effect is waking with a rock hard erection every morning without fail...what more can I say, I think I'm addicted.

I have just been given this (at same dose) for a messed up wrist injury. It is exactly as you described. Excellent. With Diazapam taken alongside you feel nothing. I do mean nothing. Physically or mentally.

I've been on dhc for 7 years and the hard on i think its cos the tablets dull the pain you feel when you need the loo so when your asleep you don't wake up for a pee n the bladder must stretch like crazy and yes if i drink alot of fluids before sleeping i wake up with the same
