Moustache !!

Well I thought I`d seen it all but now apart from a moon face, piggy watery eyes and pot belly I now have a moustache !! Shall I hire myself out to a circus or get me to a nunnery ? Have just tried a cream from Boots which was absolutely useless so reverted to my faithful tweezers but the hairs are too numerous.
On a slightly brighter note have managed to get into a size smaller trouser- the result of the Bumetanide water tablets my doctor gave me. They do help if you haven`t tried them. Do people on Methotrexate have any special side effects? I`d be interested to hear from them. Yah Boo to PMR!!! Shebob

I do sympathize with you, I too have all of those things.
My husband points out when the sunlight is catching my moustache! so hurray for the dull days !!
If the hair removal cream didn't work, try leaving it on a little longer next time, but not too soon, or for too long.
Can't imagine the pain using tweezers.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same as you about fitting into clothes, I seem to be getting bigger by the day, and a friend,( I use the term loosely!) bought a box of chocolates round for me yesterday, disaster !!
Your circus / nunnery quote gets used rather a lot in this household recently, do you think we could make a killing with a group of us on show ?
Preferably somewhere warm !!
Best wishes to all, hope this dreadful weather isn't having too bad an effect on you,
DD

I think we are starting a new human race!! most of us on steriods are beginning to look the same. Steriods should come with hair removal kits, chin straps and corsets.
Hope your all having a good day and keeping dry.
best wishes

Anyway I now find I can just use tweezers on the odd sprout. My skin is terribly thin and dry tho' especially on my legs, and I seem to spend ages creaming bits of me (and trying calamine on itchy armpits -thanks Mrs K for that tip). I am due to see Dr next week, don't think I'll bother him with all the problems this forum is so helpful with!

I'm usually on here for the anxiety threads, you girls should share your good spirits on there, they need cheering up. You also go to show that no matter what happens you can still laugh about it.
Im not on steroids and my husband still says I have a moustache lol. Think thats why I was drawn to this thread.
Keep smiling ladies
