Movements while asleep! Anxiety?

Does anyone experienced this, and is this a symptom of anxiety:

While waking up or falling asleep, I make movements like - shaking head as "no", shaking head as "yes", movements of hand or fingers, etc. And its connected with what Im thinking - for example Im thinking a conversation where someone asks me something and then I make the "yes" movement with my head in real life.

pls help

there’s nothing to be concerned about. with Anxiety, the brain is over active and so that’s most likely why you have those movements. some people, while falling asleep will make a sudden jerky movement with their arms or legs. That’s very common and normal. The brain is in between sleep and awake and it’s making adjustments.
