Moving from 50mg to 75mg side effects

I started in sertraline 50mg 6 months ago. The side effects were terrible for the first 4 weeks. Slowly after going on a long break away I was starting to feel myself again. I was back at work and back to everyday life. All of a sudden last week I woke up and was feeling anxious. A few hours later I had a panic attack. This has now 6 days later and I am up and down I still feel anxious, now I am off work again and worried about my job if this is going to be a sudden thing then my employer wont be happy. I really love my job and have no issue with work but if i am panicking i cant drive there or focus while there. I spoke to the doctor who suggested upping the dose from 50mg to 75mg but i am so worried that i may end up back at the start with all the side effects that lasts weeks. The thought of feeling that bad again is putting me off!

Anyone out there done this already or thinking about it?

Hi my husband went from 50mg to 75mg he was also the same as your self with the 50mg.

he did have side affects when he upped is dose but not so bad, i think every time you up your dose you do have side

affects. but we are all different. I upped it myself & it did not affect me to bad although im slowley weening back down

to 50mg as i did not feel it helped.
