As anyone had cortisone injections in the knee r they painfull do they work to cure ostearthrites

    I have had these when I had a flareup and for chondrocalcinosis of the knee.  when I had them I didnt care whether they hurt or not as my knee was so painful I was desperate for pain relief.  Yes they certainly do work.

    To: Mr. I have many injections on my bod!, the hips, back lower spine, RFA, radio ablations where they burn the nerves.  I always have sedation. Your choice. However their is an injection the doctor does in the office.  Are you having this done in a surgery suit?, much like an operating room?  Please advise.  Also please supply the type of injection you are havng, so we can comment. We need more medical information from you to comment correcty.  Jan

      The hospital suggested cortisole injection on my knee both , to kill the pain from osteoarthrites , i like to know if they are painfull if they work and how long the pain relife last for Many thanks
