I have suffered from Psoriasis for 43 years after serving in Northern Ireland on a 23 month tour of duty, nothing has worked until the practice nurse gave me a prescription for DiproSalic ointment about 8 weeks ago for a rash on my right heel, what a transformation in such a short time, the skin on my elbows and knees is as smooth as a baby's Bum, my buttocks are almost clear and my scalp no longer leaves my jackets looking like it has snowed on it, only one bit is being a bit stubborn that is on my right joint. Has any one else used this ointment ?, if not may I suggest you ask your doctor to prescribe it for you.

This would make sense, it has salicylic acid, that will take off the dead skin. I did find it on Amazon. I will try it. I was using the steroid ointment but used too much and got a little agitated. Doesn't seem to help.

Diprosalic has betamethasone in it, a reasonably strong steroid which is great for mild psoriasis. Please remember to check the advice from your GP carefully, as betamethasone is usually not advised for use on sensitive areas like face/genitals etc.

Really pleased you have found something that is working for you.
