MRI fluid blocking liver and gallbladder images?

Hi, I've been having problems with my gallbladder and liver. I was sent for an MRI to look at them in detail. At the end of the MRI, the technician came out quite accusatory, about me drinking water. I had not as according to the letter, you cannot drink beforehand (6 hours) she said my stomach was filled with fluid and that it was blocking the images of the liver and gallbladder etc. I am confused because I drank water at 12 at night and had the MRI at 11.30 in the morning without drinking in between this period. I am now concerned about what this could be? I was just wondering if this is a common thing? Or what it may be? Thank you!

What did your doctor say about the fluid? Was the technician certain that the fluid was only in the stomach or in the whole abdominal cavity?
