MRI of knee

I saw the MRI of my knee and was horrified to see cracks in the head of my femur running up into the thigh ? Haven't seen the report or specialist yet .... 😳

Prognosis ?

     Do you have the knowledge to read MRIs?   You may not be seeing cracks. I’d ask my ortho doctor if I was you or get a second opinion. Good luck!

      I sustained  a crush injury on the same knee 2 years ago.... so are definitely cracks, medical staff were amazed how I didn't show evidence of a clear break at the time on X-rays..... car ran over my knee

      Ohmigosh. You’ve been through the ringer. Did you have a TKR or PKR?

      I've had a TKR in my right leg 3 years ago. The crush injury was to my left knee 2 years ago and that's the MRI referred to originally. I had the MRI sat just gone and have viewed them, that's where I saw how terrible my knee looks now
