Hi just an update on my wife's  mri scan gp phoned us today to say that there  is a lesion on the c5/c6 with pressure on the cord not sure what to make of that waiting to see consultant .

    Could be a herniated disc or spur.

    Hi, try not to worry. I have had two benign growths that put pressure on the spinal cord and caused symptoms similar to your wife but in my legs and altered bladder and bowel. I know how worrying this is for you but as I said before the Walton centre is the best place for her. I think they want her in sooner rather than later to prevent long term nerve damage but I'm no expert. Good luck again

      Thank you for replie really feel for my wife due to go away on Sunday for a family wedding in Greece gp says go but consultant over the phone advised not to go.
