mri scan now after 2 extra cervical ribs found

Well i had my 3rd round of physio today and my dr has told me not to have any more and wait for the mri scan to come back he doesnt seem to think i should be in this much pain for so long.. there are 2 ribs confirmed by the xray however he is looking into more reasons for the neck pain what could it be??? any thoughts???

    Physio is mostly ineffective if you have the rib there(at least from what I have researched and been told) it made my symptoms much worse as the band of nerves were pulled so tight across the rib.

    Is your consultant a specialist? Has he talked about removal? My local consultant had to refer me on to someone who knew what they were doing.

    Good luck, it's a difficult journey.

    no hes just a regular dr hes now referring me to a specialist tho and having the mri scan soon may show more of whats going on im pleased to not be having the physio for now as it was soo painfull sad
