MRI showed ruptured tendon

Hello

So my MRI showed a ruptured peroneus longs tendon in my foot, and my doctor took me to surgery yesterday. Upon opening my foot, she could not find a ruptured tendon. She said she looked for over an hour and couldn't find anything. So  she closed me up and nothing was done. We are both confused, because the MRI clearly showed a rupture. Anyone experience something like this?

Wow!  That is a crazy story!  I did recall when I had my first consultation, the surgeon said told me that she doesn't have much faith in MRI's. I didn't ask why...but after reading your story, its got me thinking she's seen a few bizarre situations herself.
