Told I need to have C3 to C5 operation through the throat to stop the pressure on my spinal cord which is stopping me from walking. Should I have this done?

Yes absolutely have it done this is very serious.. if you dont you will finish up in a wheel chair.
i had this surgery 5 years ago "ACDF" [anterior cervical decompression & fusion] i have not had a problem with my Neck since... But you must make sure you get the right consultant to do the surgery..my advise is you need a Neurosurgeon who has done this procedure many times [ dont accept a orthapaedic surgeon] youn have the right to have 2,3,4 opions if need be to make sure you get it right.
