Hi iam 61 years old. For about 10 weeks I was getting a flashing light from my left eye only when I looked to the side and only in a very dim light. Not getting it as much now. Been to optician and she said I have a macular hole. But was surprised I have no distorted vision at all. I have an appointment this month for an eye specialist. My optician says as long as I have no vision disturbance they will probably just monitor it. Is this the case....... I've looked up the operation and it's all a bit scary. Anybody else had one of these without needing an op.
