Tingling that comes and goes in feet as well as leg pain/aches in hips, thighs, and calves that move around to all 3. Sound like MS?

Hello NorthStar,  I too am experiencing these symptoms, and am very interested in what responses show up.  I see my neurologist tomorrow, and I can’t wait.  I have a strange numb area that started on my thigh fall of last year.  Didn’t think too much of it, but it is annoying, and under the skin feels very odd.  Then about a month ago I woke up one morning with my big toes numb, and over time now both feet are numb and tingly, and working it’s way up my lower legs.  I am finding the palms of my hands are doing the same thing, and just in the last couple of days, my entire hands are involved.  Last night my feet hurt so bad, it kept me awake most of the night.  They felt swollen, but were not, just very numb, yet tingly and painful...I know that sounds strange, but I just can’t explain it any other way.  Also the muscles in my arms and neck are becoming very weak.  I have never had anything like this.  It seems strange that what ever this is, is moving so quickly.  I have to be honest, it’s kind of scary.  MS does run in my family.

I hope there is a simple explanation for your symptoms, and it is not MS!  I sure can’t wait to find out what is going on!  I wish you good luck!

Thank you. Sending good vibes your way as well. My tingling is strange as it comes and goes and appeared after I left the dr yesterday. Awaiting blood tests now.

Hi NorthStar. Can I ask how old you are? And what does the tingling feel like? Is it basic pins and needles or just a weird feeling? For the past week I've been having a strange feeling in my hands and feet, as well as slight pain in my wrist but no pins and needles.
