Years ago I used to take MSM but now I shall be taking it again in the hope of reducing the pain and inflammation in my lower spine and also to help with degenerative discs..  MSM has many benefits, including for osteoporosis, joint pains, building collagen and intestinal health - google for more info.  The supplement is also taken by sports people and is not expensive.

....don't remember having any side effects although some people can have nausea, bloating, fatigue or headache.  Starting on a lower dose might help those who do have side effects.  Biologically active sulfur is the fourth most plentiful mineral in the body that is needed for many different critical bodily functions every day.
