Is your leg still swllen at all?  When the swelling finally went, i suddenly got five degrees more. . . I'm not sure but I think i was probably around 90 at three months. . .about 130 now . . depending on the day and how hard I push!!

I'm  nearly 5 wks TKR  and am getting 80 deg, I could push another 5 deg but my leg is still very swollen and stiff, it takes me half the day to loosen up and get my best bend about lunch time. First thing of a morning it's stiff as a board. Just wish the swelling would go down a bit quicker as its preventing my bend

Of course that would be a Dr's call but as long as you are making progress I wouldn't think they would push it to that degree. Not ha ing any idea what excercise you are doing, I would suggest you apply vit E or some have said cocoa butter before you start and slow down the speed of the exercises and at the furthered part of each bend and extension hold with a little more time and slowly apply additional pressure. I started my 5th rebuild job on this knee and had it immobilizer almost 4 months before and 3 weeks after the surgery. The surgeon wants me to hit a natural 90 before starting any real work. A week ago today the stitches were removed and the brace removed and I was at 62. Yesterday I was at 75 and doing nothing but work on my quads and leg lifts. Just keep on keeping on and you'll see it give a bit then really move after that

An MUA is nothing to worry about...I've had one on each knee.

You are under general anaesthetic for about 30 mins whilst the surgeon bends the knee to break the adhesions that have firmed.  When you wake up, you will be put on a CPM machine to keep it moving.  You can control this yourself, but will be expected to use it whilst you are in hospital.  Your knee might ache a bit, but I didn't take any painkillers.

I had the MUA on a Friday and went back to work on the Monday.

Hope that helps you feel a bit better about it.
