Definetly if the doctor recommends it, I had 1 and it was the best thing I did as my bend was about 45 degrees, he apparently got 130 while I was under , I'm now getting between 100-115 , it's only a very small procedure that takes about 10 minutes , in and out same day x

I won't lie the pain was bad , but everyone is different when it comes to pain, I've found out during this whole journey I'm not very good with pain haha, as long as you take your meds , it only lasted a week and it was just where they have pulled you about during the procedure .

Thanks Natalie. My doctor is holding of on the mua. But in a way I'm glad he hasn't done it. My therapist is like pushing hard and I'm getting there. Cause honestly the word itself scares me. Lol

Hi Linda. I'm 2 yrs post op but wanted to reach out because I was in the same situation. I kept trying to put off the MUA because it scared me so much. I finally had it done at 15 weeks, which I think was a little late. I wish I had done it sooner. I was stuck at 80 degrees and fully straight. I'm now about 110, maybe a little bit less. That is what I was prior to having my replacement. I say go for it. It was really quick...you'll be sore for the next couple days, but you should be used to that now Happy to help if you have any questions. I was 46 when I had it done. My knee was a mess due to a bad car accident 20 years prior, so I had a ton of scar tissue. Good luck!!
