Hello

I just want to explain the way this nasal drip that affects me continues every day its clear and very sticky i got some relief from steam and neti pot but this last while nothing seem to stop it completely and dymista spray is doing it no good, I got blood tests and operation for deviated septum but no good the specialist has given up i think they seem to think its got to do with atmosphere allergies as i was tested for every thing. would anybody have this mucus nearly all day now thankfully its stops when i go to bed, I was thinking of giving a kinesiologist to see could they figure out would it be a intolerance to something, would anyone got any help from this treatment,

I have this as well ..It started about 2 years ago .I am 56 . Like you i have been to several Drs . Last year i got a cat scan that said i have chronic sinusitis and deviated septum. I never had a sinus issue before ? The mucus is driving me crazy .At first i thought i was having an issue with my lungs but that was ruled out . The mucus is white and thick and i dont really have any cough but i can feel and hear a wheezing in my throat ..I too use neti pot prescribed sprays ect..this sucks . I was tested for allergies as well .I tested negative ....This may sound crazy but when this all began I had a panic attack i went to the hospital thinking i was dying and my blood pressure was 250 . I am now on bp meds ..Ever since that day i have been bothered by this . Not sure if there is any connection . Have you also had a spirometry ? I have had a few .They are all good

many thanks for commenting. my problems with chronic sinusitis are exactly the same as yours apart from the blood pressure. could you tell me what is spirometry is and does it help with the mucus build up , i am also in late 50s

No it is just a breathing test to rule out asthma or other breathing conditions . I also drink apple cider vinegar with the mother . I put a few capfuls right into my bottled water . I find it to be helpful A lot of people find turmeric helpful as well . My Dr. said the sinusitis is triggering the lungs to produce mucus as well . I have days where i feel like i have a dry cough (non productive ) i think that is even worse ..I can feel it but i cant get it out .. I do not ever recall having any sinus issue before .I have no pressure ,No headaches Just the post nasal drip ..My ct scan stated i had chronic pansinusitis I guess thats when all the sinus are inflamed or infected . If the mucus is thick u need to use a humidifier at night and drink lots of water , I tend to ignore things that are not quick fixes .When the Dr told me to drink more water I rolled my eyes ,But when i do ,it helps . if you are not using vinegar ,Go get some .. it will say" raw organic apple cider vinegar with mother" All supermarkets have it .
