Multi + Mono

I have a multifocal in one eye. It's good in near vision. I haven't selected the IOL for the other eye. Has anyone tried multifocal in one eye and monofocal in the other eye? What is your experience?

You got a multifocal that's supposed to allow you to see at all distances and it's only good at near vision? Why is that?

It's now 8+ weeks post surgery. The website for these lens says 12 weeks for complete adjustment. The close vision has always been very good. Now the intermediate and distance vision seems pretty good. I think it takes some time for the brain to adjust to the IOL.
