Multiple CBC tests ... WBC rising

I had bloodwork done in January and my white blood count was in the 8s. I had one done in March it was in the 9s. I had one recently and it was 10.5. I am very concerned about this since it is slowly increasing. I did read that this could be a sign of CLL. I am 32 years old female. I been having really bad stools for 4 days and I threw up today. I am not hungry and my stomach hurts, sharp pains. I had to leave work early. I am always yawning more than usual and tired. My vitamin d count was okay.

My grandfather had leukemia and my dad had cancer as well. So the thought is orbiting my mind. What should I be looking on the blood test to raise concern?

My Platelets are 355 and have been that since January. I read that it can be concerning if the platelets are high because it can indicate cancer. My Dr is not very caring and pushing my worries away.

My Lymphs is high and so are my Monocytes. Dr said it is because of seasonal allergies but I think it is something else.

Everything was negative on the IgE allergy test so no to allergies. I did thyroid testing and they are all clear. So nothing wrong with that test.

not sure what test I should check for next. I want to live. I have two young children. I am so depressed now.

thanks for your time.

I want to add I was on prednisone for 15 days 2 weeks ago because I had yellow snot. I would assume the prednisone would have eliminated any infections.

I would go and see another doctor and get him to check your results for you

One set of blood tests is not adequate to point to any specific illness so try not to self diagnose yourself

Let the experts do that and if they do think their is any specific problem they can investigate further

Remember that lots of unimportant issues can cause spikes in blood tests so don't look for problems till you know their are some
