Multiple chronic fissures

Hi,

I was due to have advancement flap surgery on my fissure today. Woke up to find my surgeon couldn't do the surgery as he said I have 3 deep fissures surrounded by many little fissures. He gave me a.botox injection and he is sending me to a dermatologist instead.

I'd just woke from surgery and was in a state so I didn't think of any questions at the time.

I don't understand what's happened if a fissure needs surgery it needs surgery. He said the dermatologist can prescribe different creams but I have had gtn and diltiazem neither worked. I have also had 2 previous botox injections they didn't work either. This has been going on for over 3 years.

Has anyone ever heard of having so many fissures or has anyone had any different medication from a dermatologist? I'm at my wits end I thought today was the day 3 years of pain and bleeding was over but I feel like I'll be like this forever now.
