Multiple failed retina detachment

I recently had my 4th retinal detachment surgery last week. The first 2 attempts were with a gas bubble and the last 2 with silicone oil. My previous 3 have all failed due to "scar tissue peeling away the retina" before it has a chance to heal/stay connected. This has been extremely discouraging for me and I am reaching out in the hopes that someone has experienced the same issue and can offer some sort of "hope"
My lens was removed during the 3rd surgery to get at the scar tissue better and this time (the 4th) a stain was used to see the scar tissue better. Since my lens has been removed I cannot ever tell if things are going well or not since I cant see anything. After day one I get encouraging news but usually at my one or two week follow up I get the bad news that the retina has detached again. Vision is super distorted, currently have strobe light effects (did not have last 3 times) so don't know if good or bad thing. I have followed all the rules (face down, positioning, etc.)
Anyone have anything to share that might be encouraging. I told myself this was the last attempt. I have also had 3 "tears" in my good eye and petrified the same will happen and be completely blind.
Thanks in advance for any guidance
Gary
