Multiple symptoms but don't know what - fatigue, brain fog, acid reflux, weight loss

Had the flu a month back, the cough cleared, but is this off balance feeling and weakness always that hits me at some point during the day.

It's not the first time I've felt this constant fatigue and brain fog so it's concerning.

I have also been feeling the following symptoms:

Pains in joints

weight loss (78kg - 74kg)

Acid reflux

Sternum buzzing

Off balance

Tests I've done over the past few years:

Echocardiogram (while back)

Endoscopy (last year)

Colonoscopy(last year)

X rays (recent)

ECGs (while back)

Blood tests (recent)

MRI (last year)

All have come back normal. I'm worried about coming sinister in my body that has been missed, I just have no idea how to go about this, and the doctors are running out of ideas. I'm worried about some hidden cancer ( esopushgus, bone you name it), or some auto immune diesae.

As you can tell I've been under a great deal of distress but it's the symptoms causing it.

ive had many of your symptoms throughout the years. All my tests were normal too. The doctors just chalk it up to anxiety and stress.I’d like to ask you when you get the brain fog, what does it feel like? Do you feel lightheaded, confused , . Could you describe it all little? Thank you

Hi thanks for replying. It feels like my heads being inflated with something, or as if a band is constantly around my head. Yes this causes heavy headiness, lightheadedness, as well as confusion.

I just don't know what going on and I;m worried that it's something terminal that has been missed.

For example I'm paranoia about this acid reflux and whether my voice is going.

Just went to the doc again. Doc doesn't know what as I've been checked on all sorts, and my weight has thankfully remained intact. He's suggesting i resume my physical activity again.

Imagine hearing that, it's so frustrating. I'm not looking for something but you just think how could this be just anxiety?

I've experienced a lot of the symptoms you have around when I had my first panic attack, I was so anxious about my symptoms. From all the tests you've had it has ruled a lot of things out. Personally my anxiety in the past has caused me a lot of acid reflux, part from being anxious and part from the depression it caused me leading to over eating problems. Since my panic attack a year ago I have suffered with bouts of vertigo and being off balance, like im swaying. I just tell myself its weird that at one point I thought I was having a heart attack, then as soon as tests proved that wrong I instantly thought I had something else. There is definitely some anxiety in there

Thanks for coming back to me, I'm sorry you are going through that, I can't tell if I've had a panic attack, but I guess they come in different ways.

I would say I suffer from similar things and I just don't know what to do. It's so frustrating this heavy head/lightheaded feeling along with the fatigue. I thought it was just the flu but it hasn't stopped. And as I said it's not the first time I've had this for periods so I know where you are coming from.

Just got back from a walk and my legs feel like lead, I walked up 6 floors too on my way back home and I was sweating. Bear in mind I'm 29 years old. I'm worried that there is something trying to suck the life out.

To make things more worrying my arms feel the same now too.

anxiety and stress can absolutely make you feel weak! I know what that feels like there’s been times I couldn’t even get off the couch. Or exercise. Or do anything. But stress and anxiety take a huge toll on the body and can weaken it.

if you can make an appointment with a counselor to discuss what is causing the stress in your life. It’s not the symptoms that are the problem, it’s the unmanaged anxiety and stress. Hang in there and get some support with this

Yeah it's annoying for sure. Plus I'm getting a cold again. My muscles just ache all the time and the doctor tells me I should wait it out. I hope it's all good.
