Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, can cause symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, and a red throat. It's possible that your upper back discomfort and pain, as well as the red throat, could be related to this condition. On the other hand, the mild acid reflux you're experiencing could be contributing to your symptoms, especially if it's causing irritation and inflammation in your throat and upper respiratory tract. This irritation may exacerbate your sensitivity to other triggers.
