Muscle ache in lower abdomen

Can IBS cause lower abdomen muscle pains? Not too sure if the pains are from IBS or from my lumbar spine problem.

Are you sure they are muscle pains, or are they cramping pains from your bowel?
However if this is a severe stabbing pain you feel constantly, you should see your doctor.

hi mario, i think you need to rule out one or the other causing this. ibs can cause pain anywhere but if you think back to what your back pain felt the last time you had it.....
