Muscle and body ache

I have my reg blood tests and docs says all us ok. I am on 75mg levo. But my body is always aching after a little work. Muscles hurt and I feel so drowsy all the time. What could this be down to ?? No real strength anymore. What can u take to combat these symptoms? ?? Thx

This is not unusual, and it seems that conventional medical science has no answer for it.  I have the same challenges and have started investigating Functional Medecine. You can google it and see if there is a practitioner near you. One other thing to check: find out if you have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. There is a test for antibodies that will establish this. Hashimoto's is the name for a condition where the immune system attacks the thyroid. Functional Medecine claims success with treating it. I hope to find out soon if it works!  Good luck. Come back and tell how it's going.

Hi Rifster, you're the third post this week asking about similar symptoms. I've been reading posts for three years. If you do the math, you'll understand why I stopped taking the meds. Side effects generally increase with dose and time on the meds.

    Good luck!

I was on 200 of the levo. Blood looked good but I felt horrible. Got off that with American Biologics bovine glandular, 8 pills a day. Used the amino acids to get off that.

You have to be careful with the amino acids. They're high dose in an unnatural form. They are known to help cure kidney and other disease, but I needed them in high doses, so I'm a bit bloated and not losing weight. My energy and digestion are much better and I have way less brainfog. I should mention I'm also working with Traditional Chinese medicine(herbs and acupuncture) as well as thyroid support supplements.

its not perfect, but not as bad as the meds.

PM me if you need more details.
