Muscle jerks/twitches

Hi All,

I have quite bad health anxiety and have been on 50mg of Sertraline for about a month now and in that time my muscles have been quite jerky and twitchy. Like my back, arms and legs will jerk randomly.

Obviously, with health anxiety, any side effects put your mind into overdrive so I am just hoping that other people have had this as well?

I also have a tingly and stingy head/face. Obviously googling this isn't an option! And this did all start when I started the medication.

    Hi, twitching is a common symptom of anxiety and sometimes new medication can trigger this as many anxiety meds can increase anxiety initially before it improves. I've been on medication now for a couple of months and my twitching has improved a lot.
