    Hi Lisa,

Yes I have been taking Diazapem, but have stopped now because of aweful headaches, but it was making a difference on my jaw pain.  Now I just have to put up with the pain until I see the specialist.  Have you started taking any muscle relaxers Lisa?

      Hi Lisa,

I get a lot of pain, clicking and locking too.  I had an xray done at the hospital and said I had a bigger gap in the jaw on the right side as opposed to the left.  I am waiting to see a specialist.

If you have a lot of trouble get them to refer you to see a specialist.

      Good luck and best wishes.

Let us know how you get on

      Hi Lisa,

No problem about questions, ask what you like.

Yes, sometimes my whole body aches, but its mainly confined to my jaw, ear, neck and side of my head.

Are you being treated or have an appointment to get the TMJ looked at?

Well, my GP sent me for an xray of my jaw, then I went to see my dentist and talked about a mouth guard, I told her I didnt grind my teeth as I slept with my mouth open, so she referred me to the specialist at the hospital.  You are right Lisa, my eye hurts on the jaw that is affected too.

You need to see your GP again as its affecting you so much and get a referral done ASAP.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

      Take care and best wishes
