Muscle spasms

hello all,i wanted to see if anyone else experience different muscle spasms on citalopram.i'm on 5 th day 20 mg,i have spasms in caves ,biceps,back,im taking citalopram for anxiety,but this create more anxiety as im worry it might be something more serious. thanks

    Ive not had spasams as such but do keep getting twinges and discomfort etc in my stomach, lower abdomen and groin area which could be related to the meds and what you are experiencing

    good to know,having already high level of health anxiety,this does not help.

      Im the same, I suffer badly with health anxiety and all these pains twinges discomforts etc always get me worried and think the worst. Ive been having a lot of discomfort in my neck, jaw and under my chin and have been told thats the anxiety and or side effects of the meds
