Muscle twitch

Hi is anyone having a muscle twitch in the left side of neck? Also this lump in my throat just won’t go away. On a lighter note I have been doing lots of stretching which has really helped with the pain. Still having a heart rate that goes up and then goes really low anyone else have this problem. Thank you in advance

I have a lump in my throat too, and am trying to ignore it... I have also had a really low heart rate this past week - as low as 50bpm, but I am hoping this is a sign of getting fitter rather than anything else to worry about! The other symptom that concerns me at the moment is the tingling in my arm... My actual costo seems to be under control since my regular chiropractor visits and pilates through physiotherapy!

Hi Tracy. Yes my heart has been dropping to 52 but I’m not doing anything different. The lump is so annoying. Do you get any tightness or twitching in your neck. Thank you for your reply

My muscles are tight and tender up the back of my neck, so I try to keep them long and stretched. This area is really painful during my chiropractor appointments.

I have been exercising more so thought that may be contributing to lowering my heart rate, but really it can't be that effective... My usual resting heart rate is 67, so a big drop. It could be anything though couldn't it?

My resting heart rate is around 64. Yes it could be so many different things seem to happen to your body. Have had different tests on my heart but apparently they couldn’t find anything wrong

    Hi Shelly

Yes I have had left neck pain for some weeks now that also is effects along the shoulder muscle on the left that is tightly knotted and very tender. along my neck feels stiff and almosts feels a pressured like something inside is being pushed and strain against and yes it comes with twitches in a painful way - it's horrible and worrying. I had been complaining for weeks that on same time 2 lymph nodes were up GP was not taking seriously at all.

Where is the lump in the throat  centre or left side (I'm not experiencing this currently) so you are feeling like this.

Heart palpitations seem to be a continuation of CC but I intend to keep an eye on things and where I need to continue investigations with the hospital.

Meantime I have just finished a horrendous prescription of antibiotics Trimethoprim (still dealing with there side effects).

Glad to hear stretching is helping we are living with this condition and routines need to be adjusted to coping.

Hi Elaine. The twitching was very worrying, yes I also get the tightness in my shoulder. The lump is central sorry to sound gross but feels like a big lump of mucus but never bring anything up. Sometimes is causes problems with swallowing. I see my rheumatologist next Tuesday so hopefully he will have some answers. My whole family has been so affected I was in a Hospital bed I have had three heart specialists telling me it was angina heart disease heart murmur and heart failure. After I had all the tests they said my heart was fine. It’s been a testing time x

Really sorry to hear this Shelly, I know it's really is trying. How 3 specialists diagnosis be so extremly wrong? Are you suffering with headaches/tension on the same side too?

Don't mind grossing out we need to describe whats happening as tis may help others!

Are you monitoring your heart rate readings yourself?

Definately. I feel my left eye is painful since having CC too - I am sure nerves are being affected as well due to inflammation?

It does give you that feeling Shelly !! But lets keep faith that we can heal day by day x

My family keep me positive and grounded and they are convinced I will beat this. I do get days of tears but then I pull myself together. Take good care and I’m sure we will beat this x

    Hi,

I haven’t experienced any neck spasms/twitching (just extreme tension and tenderness up the back of neck), but I’ve had a non-painful but near-constant muscle spasm in my left side/back for nearly 6 months. I’ve mentioned it to three different doctors and none of them even looked into it or thought it was connected to anything else going on with me.

As for the lump/mucus feeling in the throat, I had that as well a couple weeks ago- it caused me to stop breathing several times as I fell asleep, so I went to clinic and was told it was a sinus infection. Antibiotics have helped.

My heart rate is also going haywire, but it’s always either too fast or just pounding, never low. Some days cardio exercise helps, others it seems to make it worse.

I hope we can all find some answers and relief!

Hi Cristen. Yes I used to feel as if my heart skipped a beat this lump has been going on for over a month. I was taken to Hospital but they said it was probably all connected to what I have. I was discharged at 2am and told to go back at 10am for a camera to look at what was happening, I’m afraid I felt too ill to go back. My heart only really soars when I’m moving around it used to do it all the time. I’m not sure why it drops low. Hopefully will get some answers next week
