I got COVID vaccine Jam 3rd and started having body wide twitches on Jan 17th. This has given me a ton of anxiety. Anyone have this experience?

I had my first booster in Nov 2021 and a month ago noticed I had involuntary muscle twitches (fasciculations) in my calves. I spotted them visually and was very surprised. Once I knew they were there, I found I could feel them, especially in bed in the morning, but when I'm busy and distracted I don't notice them so they could have been there way longer than I realise. Given that they can have serious connotations as well as benign ones, I'm seeing my GP next week. I had wondered if they are caused by the statins I'm reluctantly taking but was interested to see the reference to the Covid jab. There have been numerous studies done which show that the jab does harm in various ways so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this was another side effect but I doubt any medics would go along with the suggestion.

In case anyone finds it useful, I had an appointment with a neurologist today who checked me over, did a variety of simple tests and reassured me that, since I have no other symptoms, like muscle weakness, the twitches are most likely normal and appear in a lot of people - he himself has them and says they are often worse after exercise (not something I have noticed). He said that most people who have them don't realise it unless they actually see them (as in my case). So perhaps that will reassure some posters. He did say that if I developed further symptoms, I should follow it up with my GP. I didn't feel inclined to ask if there was any link with the vaccine so who knows whether that is an issue for some people.

Unfortunate that my reply containing a relevant link to Dr Yeadon's presentation about the Covid vaccine has been removed.

my son is 25 and has had every booster. He started having continuous muscle twitching that started in both legs and now its in his arms as well. This started approximately 8 months after the last booster. Hes had an EMG which was normal. Now going to see an neurologist.
