Muscle twitching

Hello,

For the past 3 weeks I have had random muscle twitching all over my body. Started mainly in my index finger but is now in my right foot and random parts of my legs and arms. Only lasts a couple of seconds but is every couple of minutes all day and night. I'm a 25 year old.

Had a blood test recently (not related) - my serum ferritin is 16, B12 is normal (382) and my folate is 20 ug/l

I've just started taking a calcium, vit D and magnesium supplement too

when you google the worst case scenario comes up (MND).

I have an underactive thyroid but this is controlled currently

Just looking for some advice/similar experience and what it turned out to be.

    As long as you are not experiencing weakness then it's considered benign and you can dismiss your worries. Motor neuron diseases usually always present with weakness initially as the main symptom.
