Muscle Weakness with Thyoid Meds

Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced muscle weakness (that never goes away) with thyroid medications?  I have had this with Levoxyl (12.5 mcg.) and with Armour Thyroid (15 mg.) as well as all other thyroid medications (even at the lowest dose).  Perhaps I don't really need thyroid meds at this point (my TSH was 5.8 when off of thyroid meds).  I saw somewhere that weakness (especially in the arms and thighs) is an indicator of too much thyroid hormone.

I had muscle weakness before I was diagnosed and I still have it, but I've only been on Levo for 2 weeks, I was hoping that was just a symptom of the hypothyroidism, its driving me mad trying to figure out what is, and what is not a symptom of this dreadful disease

I get this too in my lower back and my neck. Almost like I can't support my body because my muscles are so weak. It usually gets worse for me when my levels are too low though. Sometimes it gets slightly better after an increase

Occasionally, but I would say the muscle weakness is the more prominent symptom of the two
