my 10 yr old son has been given 10mg of amlodipine three time daily.since taking this medication hehis behaviour has deteriorated significantly. he is undergoing treatment for deppression. i do blame this medication for his problems as he had no such problems whist taking niffedipine which he had for years previously

    How can a 10 yr old boy be on 10mg of amlodopine 3 times a day, the dose for an adult is 10mg daily, no wonder he is deterioating

    i cant believe your son at 10 is on 10mg 3 times daily i am female 43 yr old and 5mg a day makes me feel ill.

    I have been on 10 mg/day amlodipine for a little over 2 years now. My BP has been well under control, but since the last month I have been feeling very low and depressed. My physician says this is certainly due to amlodipine. This month has ben the worst experience of my life. Amlodipine users beware. The problems your child faces must be because of amlodipine.
